Since 1992, we have been focused on prioritizing patient convenience through open guidance and communication, a modern yet traditional office space, extended hours, and an overall personalized and positive experience. When our patients walk in, they feel at home in our large yet cozy office where each member of our team treats them like family. At Commerce Village Dentists, we are dedicated to making sure our patients feel heard, understood, comforted, and empowered while providing the highest quality dental care. For thirty years, we have maintained a standard that embraces previous generations and welcomes new ones, and we look forward to preserving our legacy!

Meet the Dentist

Dr. Huy Nguyen

Dr. Nguyen knew he wanted to pursue dentistry from a young age. He grew up in Vietnam experiencing the hardship of wartime and a father who was taken prisoner as a military officer after The Fall of Saigon. In 1990, he and his family immigrated to the United States where he realized his dream of becoming a dentist was not only possible, but well within reach with hard work, passion, and dedication. Dr. Nguyen received his DDS in 2002 from the Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, TN. After graduating from dental school, he served in the Air Force in Minot, ND. This life-shaping experience has increased his passion for serving others.

As owner and general dentist of Commerce Village Dentists with nearly 20 years of experience, Dr. Nguyen has loved serving his community. Not only by improving his patient's oral health and confidence but by making them feel at home and comfortable during their appointments. When he’s not in the office, Dr. Nguyen enjoys spending time with his wife and children, as well as watching sports, he is an avid football watcher!

Meet the Dentist

Dr. Dipinjit Grewal

Dr. Dipinjit Grewal began his career graduating with a Bachelors of Dental Surgery in India. He then furthered his education and went on to do his masters. Dr. Grewal then moved to the United States and obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University, where he graduated in the top of his class with high honors. Dr. Grewal has been practicing in Michigan for over 17 years.

Dr. Grewal strives to keep up with the cutting edge of dentistry through continuing education. Besides providing general services, Dr. Grewal has special training in oral surgery, implant dentistry, invisalign, and esthetic dentistry. He is also currently working on certification for I.V. Sedation dentistry.

When he is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Grewal enjoys traveling and learning about other cultures and cuisines. He has been to over 20 countries and counting. He enjoys wildlife, photography, hiking, and has a special interest in philanthropy.

Meet the Dentist

Dr. Mathew Savaya

"Life is 10 percent what happens to you and 90 percent how you react to it." This philosophy, written by Charles Swindoll, is what guides Dr. Mathew Savaya both personally and professionally. Dr. Savaya strives to treat each patient with kindness and empathy. Like a fingerprint, he believes each patient and treatment plan is unique.

Dr. Savaya received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry where he graduated with honors. While in dental school, Dr. Savaya was active in research where he became published in the Journal of Dental Education, specifically on his studies in tobacco cessation and hookah usage. He stays current with continuing education to be able to provide his patients with the latest techniques.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Savaya enjoys spending time with his family. Aside from being born and raised in Michigan, he has lived in Chicago. His hobbies include cycling, horticulture, design, and architecture.

Meet the Dentist

Dr. Taesu Pak

Dr Taesu Pak graduated from Santa Clara University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of Detroit Mercy. Dr. Pak continually expands his skill set and improves his quality of care by attending extensive continuing education courses. Most recently, he was awarded the prestigious title of Fellow at the International Congress of Oral Implantologists through his advanced training in oral implantology.

Dr. Pak strongly believes in treating patients as he would want to be treated. He is both highly communicative to his patients and passionate about the care that he provides. Dr. Pak greatly enjoys educating his patients on best practices in improving oral health.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Pak enjoys spending his time with his wife and two sons. He loves to get out on the golf course and also enjoys running.
